The last time they sang back-and-forth like that was in the form of “When I Was Young”. This track blends their vocals perfectly as the chorus starts with DeLonge’s “no way, no, I leave them broken-hearted”, followed by Hoppus’ “oh no, look at the mess we started”. “They’ll be hangin’ me quick when I’m back from the dead // Get the rope, get the rope!” What makes blink-182 a unique band are the back-and-forth vocals from DeLonge and Hoppus.
